Merlin Reichart (*1991) studied design, painting and time-based media. He graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from the HFBK Hamburg in 2022 and completed exchange semesters at ENSBA Paris and ERG Brussels.
Informed by social discourse, environmental research, political sciences, philosophy and science fiction, Reichart interprets current observations and phenomena in our society. In order to make these tangible, he gives the collective unconscious an intuitive form, focusing on interwoven themes such as the relationship between culture and nature, internet culture or the mentality in times of climate catastrophe.
